Clarion FreeImage is basically a set of templates that you can use to install the FreeImage Library in Clarion 6x, 7, 8 and 9, along with some classes. Clarion FreImage is an open source program which features a raster image processing library. It comes with tools to load, save, convert, transform, change colours, change bit depth, rescale, alpha blend, create thumbnails, etc. And because it is open source you can modify it and share your developments and improvements with others.

Clarion FreeImage supports creative operations like scrolling, resampled zooming and is flicker free. It uses the source code from Clarion for image control, but you can use the base class without it if you don't need to see the image (ie when creating thumbnails). Other things you can do in Clarion FreeImage are rotating, inverting an image to make a negative, copy to and from the clipboard, skew, etc. It reads EXIF and other Metadata and works with many file formats (in addition to those mentioned above).
